Olá!!!
First thing you happen to know about the new country is that how to greet in that language. Portugal started with saying Olaaaaaaa!! - be careful about the letter a- It has this thing at the top of it -
Then I started to greet everyone...Everyone, including dogs, flowers... etc.
I live in Arrouquelas, Rio Maior, little distanced from the center, a small village. What I am doing in Portugal this small village? Well, I am a volunteer...Just you need to know this.
I work at the association called
H2O - Associação de Jovens de Arrouquelas - It's really easy to say it.
- OKE SORRY GUYS I CANT CONTINUE COS WE STARTED DRINKING WINE RIGHT NOW!!!!!
Oke, nevermind, I need to tell you what I am working on before leaving this post...
I am working with mentally disabled and elder people basically. We have two different institutions for these people. One is for mentally disabled people, I love here more than anything...
Other place is located in Arrouquelas for elder people who are being in needy as well ...
So far I have had really unique experiences in those institutions, you would have no idea!
So...besides, What I will do next? I keep going on working but the thing is I have two big projects supported by my hosting organization...
One is,
A documentary about Arrouquealas from the point of my view,
Other one is,
A short movie promoting volunteering ....
I feel so excited!
I will post the rest of the information for later...Lots of things to tell!!
Tomorrow I am off to Braga and I have been awake since 4.am !!!
